Description
We love Burgundy varieties. This also means that (as is customary in Burgundy) we are always trying out which varieties can be combined to create an interesting, unique and easy-drinking wine depending on the vintage.
2021
For the 2021 Cuvée, after extensive tasting, we decided on a combination of fruity Chardonnay and our very young Pinot Blanc. The melt and crazy, slightly herbal aroma density from our powerhouse young Pinot Blanc simply complemented the fruit basket of the slightly residually sweet Chardonnay from good old Schlosshölle perfectly.
In addition to green-yellow fruits, there are already slightly oriental-spicy hints on the nose, which are easily transported in the mouth by the melt and residual sweetness to the discreetly tart but thoroughly animating finish.
2022
The warmer vintage brings a little less fruit, but more opulence. Thanks to our new composition, the difference is noticeable in slightly more strenth with the same drinking pleasure.
The color play of @theartofpau with the combination of lively, warm, but also cool and deep colors adorns this wine not for nothing. A wine with depth – if you want.
