Description
Perfect, hand-picked grapes from two of our top vineyards in the Heerkretz and on the Golden Horn. Fermented spontaneously on the open vat with the white grape skins.
Gently pressed and matured for 20 months in tried-and-tested barriques (4th exposure) with sufficient micro-oxygenation to produce a full-bodied but relatively gentle and fruity orange wine.
Gentle tannins and moutfeel, yet not hiding the orange-stye. Light, mash-fermentation-typical emphasis on the tannins and diverse secondary aromas. Surprisingly less saturating, rather elegant and fruity, complex and clear, despite unfiltered filling from the fine lees.
Light orange to ripe yellow in the glass.
