Vintage 2022
The embodiment of our preference for Pinot: an elegant yet fruity wine, juicy on the palate with nice volume and good length.

At first, yellow stone fruit and minerality from the volcanic soil of Siefersheim dominate the varietal aromas until, with a little air and/or aging, the full bouquet of pear and subtly nutty nuances unfolds. The nose shows ripe mirabelles, pears and yellow apple, but also spicy aromas. In the mouth, apricot and tangerine are typical of the variety. Juicy, with clear contours and a harmonious finish.

Freshly ground white almonds on the nose. Quince, white peach, tangerine peel, white flowers, mineral notes. On the palate with a melting texture interspersed with mineral spice that carries through to the finish. Seamlessly interwoven acidity, fine sweetness, ripe fruit. Perfect food companion.
2023
Elegant, almost graceful, smokily tart. On the nose white peach to apricot, walnut to caramel, citrus to white tea. In the mouth again pure elegance, fine fruit, length and juicy mouthfeel. The still slightly prominent acidity points with an outstretched arm to the unmistakable Heerkretz minerality; as it matures, it will certainly draw attention to itself. Simply a great evening accompaniment.
Sommelier’s tip:
We recommend grilled dorado, white meat with kohlrabi or even Asian dishes with a good dose of coriander.
