The light rosé, which is more Provence-like, gives it away: there is more elegance than strawberry jam in this Portugieser.
The delicate pink hints at the lightness of the wine, even if the nose is in no way inferior to the stronger styles: cherry blossom, stone fruits, some juniper and even marzipan. All right, a little strawberry then perhaps, but in the mouth rather peach and fig.
In the background, slightly ethereal red wine notes greet, but say goodbye before the slightly tangy finish.
A very successful composition overall, which with its lightness (also in alcohol) fits perfectly with light dishes, appetizers or salads, but also does not hide behind goat cheese wrapped in bacon.
